It seems like only yesterday, Loren and I were
stepping off a cruise ship in Barbados, to get married on the beach.
With the waves rolling in as we said our vows, it was an utterly
picturesque setting - and it’s been a storybook marriage ever since. I
am lucky to have someone as special as Loren to share my life and my
dreams with. Together, we have come so far.
We started out in a modest home in Greensboro, NC –
but with a great deal of hard work and determination we soon moved on.
Our marriage, as well as our business, have flourished over the years –
and have helped make me the person I am today. Together, Loren and I
have lived our dream – and have helped thousands of others do the same
in the process. After all, as Les Brown said: “Help others achieve their
dreams and you will achieve yours.”
Yesterday, my beautiful wife Loren and I celebrated
our 21st Anniversary in remarkable fashion – by getting on a plane to
St. Petersburg to prepare for the debut of her brand new jewelry
collection – Yours by Loren – on HSN. Loren has always dreamed of
offering an exquisite jewelry collection that is affordable on any
budget – so in a sense the Yours by Loren collection is a dream come true.
I am honored to call Loren my wife, and am so proud
of her as she shares the Yours by Loren collection with the world
tonight on HSN. You have worked so hard for this, baby -
I know you will shine! Tonight you will be living your dream on HSN,
but for me, every day I spend with you is a dream come true. Thank you
for making that dream a reality.
